6TH TRADITIONAL CHESS TOURNAMENT WAS ORGANIZED AT INTERNATIONAL VISION UNIVERSITY

The 6th traditional chess tournament was held at the International Vision University on 2-3 November 2022.  

At the opening of the tournament in their speeches the International Vision University Rector Prof.Dr. Ahmet Vecdi CAN and Founding Rector Prof. Dr. In Fadil HOCA, emphasized that their aim is to enable our young people to increase their mental development through chess and to make this tournament a tradition in our university. Chess was played between students on the first day of the tournament, in which the students participated intensively. Certificate of participations were presented  to the students participating in the tournament and a monetary award was presented to the first-placed student. 

On the second day of the tournament, North Macedonian Chess Master Dr Osman Sali played a simultaneous game of chess against 10 people. Dr Osman Sali won all 10 games played. The tournament will continue to be held traditionally in the coming years.
